FSI / Fork Standards Inc. announced that its name has changed to FSI Technologies Inc. “Our new name is more indicative of our full range of products and services” said Fred Turek, the company’s COO.

As W. Scott Tobey, CEO, explained, Fork Standards Inc. began almost 50 years ago manufacturing precision tuning fork time standards. Over the years, our product line has expanded and evolved - we wanted the name to reflect the variety of products and services that we provide. “FSI Technologies” encompasses the company’s three divisions: Machine Vision; Encoders, Counters & Sensors (ECS); and FSI Express, the new on-line ordering division.

FSI Technologies, located in Lombard, Illinois, has been a trusted manufacturer of factory automation products since 1959. The Machine Vision division offers a full line of machine vision products, services, and engineering support for automatic inspection and robot guidance applications, as well as vision lighting and training.
